What is Cobini?

Cobini provides a service where you can make a Classifieds listing site - we call that a shop. Other websites link to your shop so their users can use your shop, forming a community.

For example, the shop "Oxfordshire Cricket Clubs" is linked to by serveral cricket clubs in Oxfordshire, so members of those cricket clubs have access to a cricket-centric community. In addition, shops can share items between each other, so "Oxfordshire Cricket Clubs" can share items with "Berkshire Cricket Clubs", making a larger but still cricket-centric community.

I've signed up but I can't find my password / verification email

When you sign up we'll send you an email with your password or a link that you need to click on to verify your email address. The email is sent from no-reply@cobini-shop.com and email systems may send this email to your "Junk Email" folder, so check there if you can't find the email in your Inbox.

If you are using a mail client (eg Outlook) to read emails from a mail provider (eg hotmail, gmail, etc.) then it is possible that our email might be flagged as "junk" by the email provider even before it gets delivered to you. If this is the case you'll need to check the Junk email folder on your provider's servers. For example, for Yahoo email go to mail.yahoo.com, for Hotmail go to hotmail.com, etc.

Should I make a Shop?

Make a shop if you want to provide a Classified Ads listing service for your users. There is a link on the Cobini home page to make your own shop. You can let other websites link to your shop to give more users access to your shop, and you can share items with other shops to get even more advertisements.

Can I restrict access to my shop?

No, you cannot stop users from visiting your shop, and if they are logged in you cannot prevent them from submitting advertisements, responding to ads, etc. However, you have full control over the advertisements that are accepted into your shop - you can accept or reject them.

Can I share advertisements with other shops?

Shops can share items with other shops to reach even more users. Before you share items with other shops, consider the types of items you might receive from the other shops - if you are a children's club for example, the type of items you could receive from shops that you share with may not be suitable for your users.

The "Share" option is only available if you own a shop.
